What we look for

- Smoke and CO alarms present and working
- Caulking, grout and seals that need attention
Tenant notice: the landlord sends it
In Ontario, a landlord must give the tenant at least 24 hours' written notice before entering a rental unit for an inspection, stating the reason and a time between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. We'll agree on a visit time with you, and you send the notice to your tenant. We keep visits respectful and brief, and we're there to help the tenant look after the home, not to police them.
